I became a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Arts, Manufacture and Commerce earlier this year.  I am not sure where this is taking me although one cannot help but be inspired by its projects, events and the Fellowship network.  I have joined the Digital Engagement group (a group that includes Jemima Gibbons, author of Monkeys with Typewriters, the best book on Social Media I have read ( triarchypress.com )) The Group was set up to enable the use of social media and collaboration tools accross the RSA and to encourage and facilitate Fellows working together.  I am looking forward to my first meeting and hopefully involvement in  a very interesting and worhwhile project.
